Grown Here From the Ground Up
For 25 years, we’ve been growing vibrant, aromatic herbs organically on our farm in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The sage in every smudge is grown right here, where we tend it throughout the season and harvest it by hand at its peak.

Handcrafted, One Bundle at a Time
Once harvested, our organic sage is carefully dried before making its way to our assembly table.
Each smudge is arranged and tied by hand, weaving our farm-grown sage together with carefully selected herbs and flowers to create each decorative bundle.

Hand-Harvested Quality
We harvest our sage by hand, one plant at a time, carefully selecting each stem before gently air-drying them. Each smudge is then hand-tied in small batches, preserving the natural beauty, fragrance and character of the sage from our fields.

A Little More Intention

Product FAQ
Sage Smudge FAQs
What is a sage smudge used for?
Sage is traditionally burned for its aromatic smoke and has held an important place in the ceremonial traditions of many Indigenous peoples of North America.
Today, people may incorporate sage into their own personal rituals, use it to create an intentional moment or simply enjoy its natural herbal fragrance.
How do I burn my sage smudge?
Light the tip of the bundle and allow it to catch briefly, then gently blow out the flame so the sage smolders. Always hold it over a fire-safe dish and extinguish it completely when finished.
Can I burn the decorative sage smudges?
Yes. Our Decorative Sage Smudges combine sage with dried herbs and flowers and can be burned just like our Classic Sage Smudge. They can also be left unburned and enjoyed as botanical décor.
Are your sage smudges organic?
Yes. All of our herbs and flowers are USDA certified organic and grown on our farm in southwestern Pennsylvania. We hand-harvest, dry and bundle every sage smudge ourselves.
How should I store my sage smudge?
Keep your bundle in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Always make sure a previously burned bundle is completely extinguished and cool before storing.
